jAMES P. MORRISON

Jim was born and raised in San Diego and started working in the building industry when he was twelve years old sweeping out homes and digging trenches on the weekends and during summers for the construction firm founded by his father.  After graduating St. Augustine High School Jim worked in San Diego's thriving tuna fishing industry as a deck boss and ship navigator for 10 years before rejoining the family business.  In 1983 Jim acquired his contractors license and started building homes alongside his father in San Diego as Morrison Construction Co.

Today Morrison Construction has developed a niche for infill construction and accessory dwelling unit production and continues to focus on providing a quality product while managing costs.
